Roots & Rhythms: One-to-One Conversations

I’m exploring the topic of connection – with self, others, and the Earth.

I’m inspired by people I see who are already exploring ways to live in a more connected, intentional way; a way that is perhaps more in tune with the rhythms of nature and their own values. People who have already been brave enough to make a change in this direction.

I am inviting a few such people to join me in one-to-one conversations. These conversations will be a shared space for reflection and exploration. A  chance to pause and make sense of your own journey, while contributing to a wider conversation about what it means to live a connected, meaningful life – to “live well” in these times. The conversation will be guided by what feels alive for you.

What you can expect:

  • A trusted, informal space
  • An opportunity for you to reflect on your journey so far, your choices and any questions you are holding – giving yourself time for self-reflection
  • A space to explore what’s working, what’s challenging, and what you’re noticing in yourself
  • A mutual exchange of insight and perspectives– you’ll be shaping my research, and I’ll share what I’m learning along the way
  • A chance to talk about the things that spark your attention and that interest you with someone who is equally as excited about them
  • The opportunity to inspire a wider conversation about how we live well in these times
  • There is the possibility of being connected to other likeminded individuals, if that is of interest.

How this connects to my research:

I’m doing a PhD exploring how we might restore connection in a fragmented world. These conversations will help me understand the practices and choices that sustain connection. With your consent, I may weave themes or quotes into my writing (anonymised unless you request otherwise).

Logistics:

📅 3-5 conversations (TBD by us as we go along). Ideally once a month.
📍Ideally in-person and outdoors if logistics and weather allows (ideas encouraged!). If some need to be virtual then we will work with what we have, that is fine too.
🌿Beginning – ASAP

We will be following an action research approach, so we’ll be co-inquiring — learning together and contributing to a wider shift towards more connected, sustainable ways of living.
